Injuries from motor vehicle accidents

Over the past 25 + years I’ve seen thousands of people. Hundreds of them had already been treated elsewhere. When their insurance was capped, they were told or assumed out of frustration, that they had reached the end of the line. This is as good as it’s going to get, so get over it and get on with it.
Frankly, this is appalling! For example, here in Colorado, all auto accidents are handled through the tort system. Often what this equates to, is that one’s legal advisor refers them to someone they do business with. This streamlines the process for the lawyers, the owners of the clinics and the insurance companies. Here in Denver, there are roughly 1000 auto accidents a month. The point is, that if you’re injured in an auto accident, your injuries etc. affect 100 percent of your life.
But in the business of auto accidents, sadly, you’re one of a great many. Like any good business, having a system that you rely on is important. Unfortunately, these systems often have more to do with efficiently collecting cash from the insurance companies, than ensuring great healthcare. I’m not saying there’s anything egregious going on. I am pointing out the business model currently in use has plenty of cracks for the injured person to slip through. Getting the insurance company to pay up, does not necessarily equate to your return to wellbeing.
To folks in the business of auto accidents, it’s just like a bus line, it cycles round and round. If you want to get better, reclaim your health, and ditch the pain. Try to make sure you’re on the right bus. Doing more of what’s not working, isn’t going to get you where you’re trying to go.
